Impact of cognitive and affective impairment on quality of life and treatment adherence in elderly patients with heart failure
The study included 106 elderly patients with HF NYHA classes II: 34 patients had mild cognitive impairment, 37 patients – mild vascular dementia, 35 patients – depressive symptoms. The worst quality of life measured by the SF-36 and the lowest medication adherence measured by Minnesota Living with Heart Failure Questionnaire were identified in patients with depressive symptoms
