Active aging means aging while maintaining good health, playing an active role in social and professional activities and getting satisfaction from this process, continuing to be independent from others in everyday life and showing civic activism. Regardless of age, we can play an important role in society, and we can enjoy a good standard of living even in old age. The policy objective for older people is to maximize their enormous potential. Strategic documents on active aging, adopted at the European level, emphasize the role and contribution of older people in society and cover three main areas: employment in the labor market, active participation in society's life and independent, healthy and safe life. It is of great interest the identification of the needs of older people in work, their social well-being and social stability in modern socio-economic conditions. For this purpose, it was developed the questionnaire Active aging / Decent work for all ages. The questionnaire contains closed and semi-closed questions. This paper contains the results of own representative selective/sample study as well, as the analysis of literature data focused on the above mentioned topic.
