The EuroQol-5D questionnaire is a reliable tool for assessing the quality of life used in various areas of medicine. In the present study, the questionnaire was used for the assessment the effectiveness of medical rehabilitation in patients of the Department of Traumatology and Orthopedics of the Federal Research and Clinical Center for Children and Adolescents of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia under the 18 years old. The study was conducted from December 2020 to April 2021. According to the obtained data by EuroQol-5D, the most significant disorders were observed in terms of the pain severity, as well as anxiety and depression. According to the rehabilitation routing scale, the most significant violations in patients were reported by physicians with respect to such indicators as movement and self-service. After the comprehensive rehabilitation treatment, all children have showed positive changes: the average increase on the visual analog scale by the EuroQol-5D questionnaire?was 18±9,5 points. There were no answers about severe pain, anxiety and depression. The conducted research allowed us to identify priority areas for improving rehabilitation care for the studied category of patients: including participation of a psychologist in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team and using methods of occupational therapy for correcting self-service skills.
