The main objectives of the Multinational Center for Quality of Life Research are as follows:

1. To develop and coordinate national programs on QoL and symptom research in different fields of medicine:
• Oncology
• Hematology
• Cardiology
• Pulmonology
• Gastroenterology
• Rheumatology
• Neurology
• Dermatology
• Transplantology
• Palliative care
• Pediatrics
2. To participate in the international programs on patient-reported outcomes (PROs) and coordinate their realization within Russian setting.
3. To conduct linguistic and cultural adaptation of QoL questionnaires as well as to conduct their validation.
4. To conduct scientific conferences, workshops on PROs.
5. To conduct educational programs (training courses, workshops etc.) on PROs.
6. To provide information support on PROs research for Russian specialists.
7. To establish QoL and symptom research network in Russia.
